As a kid growing up right across from Lower Manhattan, the Twin Towers were always a constant fixture. When I went outside to play on the streets (which is probably a foreign concept for kids these days), the Towers were there. When I rode my bike around town, they were there. When I fished on the Hudson River (for what I don't know, three eyed fish, radioactive waste, medical waste, etc.) the Towers were there. Still can't believe it's been 10 years since the tragic events of 9/11 have unfolded. Even though the Towers are no longer there, I'm fortunate to have the childhood memory of the majesty of the World Trade Center.
